The Canter Safari is another popular way to explore wildlife sanctuaries like Ranthambore National Park, typically involving a larger, open-top vehicle that can accommodate around 20 people. This option is ideal for groups and families looking for a budget-friendly safari experience while still enjoying the thrill of wildlife spotting.Unlike the smaller Gypsy vehicles, Canters are more stable and comfortable on the rugged terrains of the park, making them suitable for a broader audience, including those who may not be comfortable with smaller, more bumpy rides. The elevated seating also provides an excellent panoramic view, which is especially helpful for photography and for spotting wildlife from a distance.
Canter Safaris are usually conducted in both the morning and evening, with a local guide leading the journey, pointing out various animals, birds, and sharing insights about the park's flora and fauna.

13 August 2019I recently went on a Canter Safari and it was absolutely incredible! The guide was knowledgeable and knew exactly where to go to spot wildlife. We saw tigers, deer, and a variety of birds, which made the entire experience memorable. The canter was spacious and allowed us to move around a bit to get better views of the animals. The early morning start was totally worth it—there's nothing quite like seeing the jungle come alive at dawn. Highly recommend this adventure for anyone wanting to experience the wilderness up close!

17 SEP 2019The Canter Safari was a fun way to experience the jungle. It’s a great option for those traveling in a group, as the vehicle fits quite a few people. We were lucky enough to see a tiger, which was the highlight of the trip! The only downside was that the canter can be a bit noisy, which sometimes scared the animals away, but overall the guide made sure we had plenty of great sightings. I would definitely recommend this for those who want an exciting and affordable way to explore the wildlife.
